Inspired by Japanese incense boxes, this small box that looks like a large boulder was made from a lump of clay that was given a lot of texture and was then carefully hollowed out by hand following the "kurinuki" technique. Can be used to hold anything: jewelry, fine spices, coins, even incense! It can also be used to present an elegant snack, or an engagement ring! Stoneware. Shino. Glass. Wood fired.
