A Raku Firing Day in the Eastern Townships (June 13)

Step out of the city and into fire, and transformation. 

Join us for a full day Raku experience in the beautiful Eastern Townships. 

Participants will begin by glazing their own pre-made bisqued pieces at Poterie Foster studio using expressive, unpredictable glazes. 

From there, we'll travel to John Davidson's Raku studio in Ouest-Bolton, QC, where you'll take part in a full Raku process: removing red-hot pieces from the kiln and watching them transform through smoke, flame, and rapid cooling. 

This is a hands-on, sensory experience, perfect for those who already have bisqued work ready to glaze. 

Included: All Raku materials and firings included.

Date: 13 June in Ouest-Bolton for Raku firing, dependent on weather.
Glazing possible during gallery open hours prior to Raku firing date. 

Transportation not included.
