Laraqui, Asmae - Souffle en lumière
Created from a single plant fiber immersed in porcelain slip, hand-shaped, and then supported during drying and firing to preserve its form.
The fire completely consumes the organic material, leaving behind only its mineralized imprint. Suspended between fragility and permanence, the sculpture evokes a withered plant form or an unearthed relic, where porcelain becomes the memory of life. It invites us to contemplate the beauty of decline and the silent traces left by the passage of time.
